I previously attended an SEO seminar from some of the Top SEO's in my area and one of the big questions answered was what kind of linkbuilding works in 2013.

The answer: All kinds of links!
Well, in a more detailed answer it comes down to receiving all kinds of links from all kinds of sources but the big word BUT, you cannot simply stick to one method of linkbuilding. So for example, maybe one month you create automated links with SENuke and GSA, then the next month you need to manually find links from your competitors, then the next month comment on relevant blogs, then the next month get a bunch of social signals. etc.

This makes sense, and this method was verified by several sources that rank for highly competitive keywords. However, I would like the BHW forum to create a list of High quality links that we can focus on creating rather than just simply using automated software.

I will start the list with what I think can be really high quality Tier 1s
1. Youtube Videos
2. Competitor links (use ahrefs or OSE to find blogs in your competitors link profile to comment on)
3. High PR blog posts
4. Manually created Web 2.0s
5. Create another relevant Website with unique content
