The one thing I will say is that although social media can drive traffic, you need to remember why people are on social media in the first place: They are there for the entertainment and social experience. People don't go to social media to buy stuff therefore social media traffic has a tendency not to convert too good.

I'm not trying to deter you from social media campaigns but just be aware unless you understand who you are aiming for on social media and have the perfect product, you may waste a lot of advertising money until you get it right.

You will always need the search engine model to make money because people use search engines to solve a problem.
